We're just obsessed with GTA 6
SixHype exists for one reason. The wait for Grand Theft Auto VI is unbearable, and the news about it is scattered across a hundred tabs. We put it in one place and update it every day: news, guides, cars, map breakdowns, and a countdown you can actually watch.
Who's behind this
Every article is published by the SixHype Desk, our editorial identity. We are fans, not games journalists at a big outlet, and we don't pretend otherwise. What we promise instead is method: everything we publish traces back to a source you can check. We have followed Rockstar's releases for years, from GTA 5's launch through Red Dead Redemption 2, and we apply that pattern knowledge to what's coming.
Our editorial standards
- Sourced, always. Claims link to where they came from: Rockstar Newswire, credible reporting, or clearly identified community research.
- Rumors get labeled. A leak is called a leak. A prediction is called a prediction. We never dress speculation up as confirmation.
- No invented facts. No fake dates, no fabricated prices, no "insider" claims we can't trace. If we can't verify it, we say so or we skip it.
- Updates over hot takes. When Rockstar confirms something, the relevant guides get updated, with the update date shown at the top of the post.
- Corrections. When we get something wrong, we fix the article and note the change. Being right matters more than being first.
What you'll find here
- News, decoded fast, so you are not reading a press release.
- Leaks and rumors, always labeled, never passed off as fact.
- Deep reference guides: every confirmed car, weapon, character, and mile of the map.
- Practical prep: pre-orders, editions, launch-day checklists, PC timing.
- A live countdown to November 19, 2026, front and center.
How we work
SixHype is a small operation that leans on modern tools, including AI assistance, to keep up a daily publishing pace. Every piece runs through the same editorial process: research against primary sources, fact-checks on names, dates and prices, and a human-standard review for accuracy before anything goes live. The tools help us move fast. The standards above are what keep us honest.
The legal bit
SixHype is an independent, fan-run website. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or any of their subsidiaries. "Grand Theft Auto," "GTA," and related marks are the property of their respective owners. All imagery is either fan-made or used for the purposes of commentary and news reporting.
