After years of waiting, guessing, and arguing in comment sections, we finally have a date we can trust. GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026.
No more delays
The important part is not just the date, it is who said it. Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick told Variety in July that the company is not planning further delays and that the November window is holding. When the person running the company says that out loud to a major outlet this close to launch, it carries far more weight than another rumor.
Pre-orders going live in late June back it up. Publishers do not open pre-orders on a date they expect to move.
What this means for you
If you were holding out for certainty before letting yourself get excited, this is it. The game arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series consoles on November 19. If you want it at launch and you are still on last-gen or PC only, now is the time to sort out your hardware.
